The renovation of the Old Trafford tunnel has been completed just in time for Manchester United’s upcoming matches. The tunnel has been updated to create a modern and inspiring environment for the players. LED lights have been installed on the ceiling, and there are club crests and a Red Devil silhouette decorating the walls.
Additionally, a heritage area has been included at the top of the tunnel, featuring plaques in tribute to former club figures. The project aims to enhance the matchday experience for both the men’s, women’s, and Academy players of Manchester United.
In addition to the tunnel refurbishment, work has started to replace the executive seating area at the Stretford End with general admission season tickets. This decision was made in consultation with the Fans’ Advisory Board, as part of the club’s efforts to prioritize fan experience. Other fan-centric initiatives include the installation of rail seating and the creation of an atmosphere section in the Stretford End.
Fans can look forward to updates on the completion of these projects in the near future. The club is committed to making improvements that will benefit both the players and the supporters at Old Trafford. Stay tuned for more exciting developments as Manchester United gears up for the 2024/25 season.
