Epic Games has brought a fun collaboration event to Fortnite Battle Royale by introducing Fall Guys to the game for a limited time. Until August 15, players can enjoy a familiar-looking obstacle course in the skies above the battle royale arena.
If you come across a Bean Idol in the Classy Courts area of the map, your character will be transformed into a Fall Guys bean, standing at a towering six feet tall. Depending on whether you are using an original Fortnite character or a licensed one, your bean will resemble that skin or be a default naked bean. Once you complete the course, you will return to your regular humanoid appearance.
Players have three attempts to finish the course, but only one completion is allowed per match. As the course moves into the storm, it becomes inaccessible. With a 120-second time limit, falling off the course will result in respawning at a checkpoint or the start. The faster you finish, the better the loot you will receive, with a chance for gold loot if completed under 50 seconds. Completing quests can also earn you Fall Guys bean-inspired cosmetics.
In addition to the obstacle course, Fall Guys is now featured in Fortnite’s creative mode. Players can explore pre-built islands with new versions of iconic Fall Guys stages and even create their own Fall Guys-themed islands to share with others. While on these islands, your character will remain in bean form.
Epic Games has also introduced proximity chat in creator-built islands, sparking curiosity about its potential in battle royale modes. This feature could bring an exciting twist to gameplay in the future. The collaboration between Fall Guys and Fortnite offers players a unique and entertaining experience that combines the best of both worlds.
